Karli Hager, LMFTA
Licensed marriage and family therapy associate
GOTTMAN LEVEL 1
In case no one has told you today—I believe you!
Karli earned her Bachelor’s Degree from UNC Chapel Hill, where she majored in both Human Development & Family Studies and Psychology. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. Karli’s education and experience have equipped her to work with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life. She primarily works with individuals ages 16 and up, and also enjoys supporting both monogamous and polyamorous relationships in couples and family therapy. She is Gottman Level 1 trained and specializes in relationship and interpersonal issues, boundary setting, complex family dynamics, ethical non-monogamy and big life transitions.
Karli believes therapy can be a place to untangle what feels overwhelming and rediscover your strengths. With a collaborative approach, she tailors treatment to your unique needs while building a relationship that can inspire healthier connections outside of therapy. Along the way, she’ll celebrate both your progress and your victories, big and small.
Finding the right therapist can make all the difference. If you’ve done counseling before, you already know how important that connection is. Karli welcomes the opportunity to meet for a free consultation so you can explore your next steps for growth and healing.
