Hi there!

My name is Sarah and I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2019. Since then, I’ve loved working with clients of all backgrounds who are coping with challenges due to neurodiversity, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and more. I have found that offering teletherapy allows more folks to access mental healthcare with fewer worries about barriers that often stop people from receiving support.

    Sarah's Story

As a neurodivergent therapist herself, Sarah believes wholeheartedly in the power of prioritizing her clients’ lived experiences throughout their time together.  She works through a lens of intersectionality and feels strongly that each client is the expert of their own experience in life. Her clients can count on her to use a trauma-informed and person-centered approach as they work together to create a treatment plan that centers their individual needs. In her sessions, she values collaborating with her clients to create positive change through utilizing techniques drawn from many therapeutic approaches including psychoeducation, mindfulness, narrative therapy, cognitive and dialectical behavioral coping skills, and solution focused therapy.

Her goal is always to create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment where clients can feel safe to express their thoughts and feelings without filters. Sarah is constantly pursuing more education to enable her to do her best to empower clients to feel capable tackling any life challenge they meet.
